About Anna Cordle Home
Who they are, and why we work with them.
Anna Cordle is an independent interior designer based in Bristol. She works in person across Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire, and remotely further afield, and she specialises in family homes: rooms that look calm and work hard for the way a household actually lives.
She keeps her list short so each client gets proper attention, and she works from a first consultation through a concept and a detailed design to a final styling day. Her design packs cover layouts, lighting, joinery drawings, finishes and furniture — exactly what a builder needs to price and build from.
Anna's clients are often planning building work, from a kitchen moved to a loft converted, and ours often want help with what happens inside. Working together means the design and the build are planned side by side, not one after the other.
Often alongside our design & build, extensions, loft conversions and renovations.
How we work together
Who does what, from first visit to handover.
- Their part
- The design. A concept for how the house should look and feel, then a detailed scheme: layouts, lighting, joinery drawings, finishes and furniture.
- Our part
- The build. Our carpenters and site team build what she designs. Bring her in early — the lighting plan and joinery drawings need settling before first fix.
- Your contract is with
- Anna for the design, us for the build. She runs her own practice.
- 1
Bring her in early
Tell us at the first visit if Anna's involved, or ask and we'll introduce you. The earlier she's in, the more of the design we can price before work starts.
- 2
Concept and design
Anna develops the look and feel, then the detailed design: layouts, lighting, joinery and finishes.
- 3
Priced and built
We price the build from her drawings and build it. Lighting and joinery are settled before first fix, so the wiring and the joinery go in right first time.
- 4
Finishing touches
Once we've handed over, Anna's styling day brings the rooms together.

Questions
Working with Anna Cordle Home.
Do I have to use Anna to build with you?
No. Plenty of our clients design their own interiors or bring their own designer. Anna is who we suggest when you'd like help.
Who do I pay for the design?
Anna. She runs her own practice and contracts with you directly for design; we contract with you for the build, priced from her drawings.
Is it too late to involve her once the build has started?
Not necessarily — her one-off design consultation suits projects already under way. But anything that affects wiring or joinery needs deciding before first fix, so earlier is always easier.
